- Warm white ~2700–3000K — flatters cream, pastel Nommi, and cozy Maymei; preferred “premium showcase” look
- Neutral ~4000K — cleaner color accuracy when you need true fabric tones
- Cool ~6000K — avoid for plush; reads clinical and harsh on pale pile
Placement That Actually Works
- Route strips under shelf lips or along cabinet uprights — not pressed into fabric
- Side lighting reveals back-row faces after you add risers

- Indirect bounce off a back panel reduces hot spots
- Use a timer; 24/7 bright exposure is unnecessary

Sun Before LED Brand Obsession
Direct or strong window light fades dyes and yellows plastics faster than ordinary indoor LEDs. Move shelves, add curtains, or apply UV film on glass. Fixing sun exposure beats upgrading strip brands.
